March 5, 2012: Luczak and Krezolek visit Little Heath to speak to the headteacher, informing him that Daniel has suffered "heart failure". A strategy meeting involving police and representatives of other agencies started at 2pm. After the meeting, Dr McLachlan goes to the hospital mortuary at 3.40pm to view Daniel's body and is "horrified" by what she sees, recognising immediately that he is extremely emaciated. Luczak and Krezolek are arrested at around 7pm. The kitchen cupboards at their home are full of food and a large bowl of fresh fruit is also present.
